User Manual
The "Built for" series is easy to use, with what we hope you will find as a user friendly interface. But the database modules do contain some rather complex data relationships between the various data tables. This requires that certain data be entered or deleted in a specific manner in order for the database to operate correctly. Because of the complex relationship of some, the formulas and macros that drive the database must look for certain information in a particular order. It is important to review the online user manual, as many answers may be addressed to different situations.
We hope this manual is helpful in explaining the many detailed functions available. We stand behind our products and offer limited support in helping you understand the basis of the databases. If you run into any problems, feel free to contact our support department. We will look into the problem and help you find a solution if possible. Please state the problem as clearly as possible along with your name and email contact information. Reporting Bugs
We tested Built for Business on several operating systems to provide you with a dependable database. If you find a bug within the program, please document it in detail, explaining what the bug is and how to duplicate it. It would also be helpful to document your system configuration and operating system details. Send all of this information by email to staff@darkstonedata.com. Please include in the subject line "Reporting Bug" and we will look in to the problem as soon as possible. Please include your name and email incase we have further questions.
You may install the purchased databases on any computer(s) you own or as many computers that are within your business structure. Meaning, if your business has a five computers, feel free to install on any or all the computers within your establishment. Please review the license agreement. The link is provided below.
Once you purchase the database, feel free to customize the database to fit the needs of your own business. If you are new to database design and run into problems, contact us. We offer "limited" customizing support advise. We will do the customizing for you at an addition fee. Modifying the database in any way shall be your responsibility and we suggest you make a clean backup copy before attempting any changes.
