Purchase Orders

Printing A Purchase Order

To view and print your Purchase Order select the PURCHASE ORDER button at the top of the Purchasing window. When viewing your purchase orders you will notice that there are several option buttons and a Printed check box located at the top of the page. Don't worry. They will not appear in your printed document. The functions of the buttons are fairly self-evident, so we won't go into an explanation for them. The check box does have an important function, which we will look at next.

The PRINT button on the purchase order will print all unprinted purchase orders. This way, you can print your purchase orders in batches if you choose to. The check box labelled Printed at the top of the page is how the application knows if a purchase order has been printed or not. When you click on the Print button, the program will search for all unchecked Printed boxes and print each purchase order found with the box unchecked. Once the printing is finished, the application will set those purchase orders as being printed by checking the box for each document. This function will work whether you have a single document or any number of Purchase Orders to print.

Note: If you have select Purchase Orders that you do not want printed, manually check the Printed box and they will not print. In order to print a Purchase Order that has been previously printed, uncheck the check box or print from the Windows File menu.
