Service Returns

Returns of goods purchased is another inevitable aspect of most businesses. Built for Service will help you in managing these transactions. We have also included a Service Returns window to make it easy for you to record any returns you may have. You can access the Service Returns area from the Service Menu Guide.

Instructions for Entering Returns

  1. Enter the return date and select the customer from the drop-down list in the CUSTOMER # field.
  2. Select the Packing Slip number that the return is being made on.
  3. Filling in the REASON and the REQUESTED BY information is optional, along with the check box for indicating if the Return Form was used in the return.
  4. Enter the quantity for the item being returned. If you charge a restocking charge, enter it also at the bottom of the return window.

Once you have the return logged, you can select the navigation button for the Credit Note to print out a credit for your customer.
