Entering Labor and Materials

Instructions For Entering Labor Quote Section:

From the Job Information view, using the buttons will take you to the next section working within the same quotation. If you need to work on a different quote then what is showed, use the Find Quote function found on the Job Information view.

1. The NO # field is a drop-down list of your labor charges. When you select the desired labor, the number will display in this field.
2. The HOURS REQ section allows for you to add the time element the job will take.

The costing fields will then calculate according to the information you provided in the Setup Labor section. You will notice that at the top of the screen, the cost and charge are displayed. This will help you calculate your costs and requirements further.

You now will proceed to Materials.

Instructions For Entering Materials Quote Section:

Parts is set up in the same fashion as labor. The dropdown box allows for the materials that you furnished to be displayed. This should have been setup previously but if you required to add a new material at anytime, follow the Materials section instructions and then return to your quote.

The fields are are self explanatory for the most part, you can check inventory levels from the material quote section and add materials to backorder if necessary. A discount category allows for any discount you may offer your customer. This is optional, and if left blank, will not interfere with the quotation. Again, we try to leave as many options available as possible to make your quoting simplified.

When all the materials have been added, proceed to the TEXT section of the quote.
