Setting Up Your Labor Charges

Setting Up Labor

Instructions For Setting Labor:

  1. The category allows for different types of labor required. We have preassigned several for your convenience. This can be altered by pressing the ADD NEW CATEGORY button.
  2. Again, you must assign an LABOR CODE for your labor . This does not need to be a numerical number.
  3. The LABOR TYPE field is for you to categorise the different labor charges that may occur. You can use this field to further categorise the items you set up for more precise sorting.
  4. The DESCRIPTION field is to define the function. This is for your knowledge and does not effect or show in the customer area.
  5. Enter the price that you are charging the labor for in the CHARGE PRICE field. Just so you do not get confused, that is the price you are charging your customers for the labor.
  6. Next, enter the price of the item under the COST column. This is the price you pay for your labor, not the price you are charging for.
