Data Security Begins With An Effective Backup System!

Statistics indicate that over 92% of businesses which lose their data and are unable to recover it, fails within the next year.

This statistic alone should make it clear why data security is so important to a business. And the first step in making your data secure is to have a sound data backup system in place.

The most sophisticated security system available will not do you any good if one day you turn on your computer and get a message to the effect, "drive not found," and you do not have a backup copy of your data. This type of error messages means that your hard drive has failed, and can be further translated into: "kiss your data goodbye!"

Of course, there are data recovery services available. These companies specialize in recovering data from dysfunctional or damaged hard drives. But these services are not nearly as economical to use as a good backup system would have been in preventing the disaster. On top of that, there is no guarantee that the service will be able to get all, or even part, of your data back for you.

Even if the recovery service would be able to reclaim your data, it would take days for you to get it back. Can your business afford that sort of delay?

As a business owner, you absolutely must have a sound backup plan in place to protect your data. It will save you a great deal of stress, headaches, and money in the event of data loss. And it could very well save your business.
